GREETINGS TO ALL
Dear OSArs,
Welcome to the official E-newsletter webpage of HKOSA! The Association has proudly entered its 27th year.
Looking back, 2013 has been a rewarding year for HKOSA. The recurrence of Volunteer Training Scheme 2012, the breakthrough of HK Spotlight 2012, the prestige of Youth Summit 2013 and the legacy of Interflow Camp 2013 conspired to create a fusion of continuation, inspiration and tradition. Our Association has successfully committed ourselves in spreading our theme “To Shine is to give”, hopefully impacting the younger generations to become outstanding individuals with distinctive idiosyncrasies.
In the coming year, our Association will continue to spare no effort in influencing the youth. Our annual theme, “A Family We Unite, Society We Ignite”, stems from our belief that we are the future leaders of society and only through unity can we inspire our society. We will continue with our internal and external projects while searching for opportunities elsewhere. One unique feature of our Executive Committee—a team of university students and secondary school students—will enable our Association to expose ourselves to experiments, collaborations and opportunities.
Usian Bolt the Runner said after winning his Olympics title, “I don’t think limits”. True, limits do nothing but limit. Our Association would like to see members outpace others and step out of their comfort zones, which would help them create bigger comfort zones. Therefore, our Executive Committee does not think limits, but breaks them instead.
HKOSA will continue to be a home for all members, a stage for displaying excellence and a pioneer in social affairs. We welcome young hearts with burning passion, and hope to see you all soon!
Warmest regards,
CHEUNG, Leanne (2710)
